Whenever I watch a Japanese drama or movie, i’m always fascinated on how everybody dressed. Sometimes they would wear the oddest combination of clothes, and yet they manage to pull it off. I can’t help thinking that Tokyo must be a great place to live. You can wear pretty much anything without getting stared at or frowned upon.
As someone who wears jeans and T-shirts all the time, watching
Jimi ni Sugoi actually inspired me to go to the mall and buy some skirts. Satomi
Ishihara really is one of those lucky people who look good no matter what they
are wearing. Even in her petite frame she’s able to make long skirts and wide
pants work.
Jimi ni Sugoi tells the story of Kono Etsuko – a woman
who aspire to become a fashion editor, but ended up hired in the proofread
department of a publishing company instead.
The coolest thing is that every time
Etsuko changes her clothes she would pose like in a fashion magazine.
this one is my favorite!
